Sounding the Seventh Trumpet is the first full album of American metalcore band, Avenged Sevenfold. The album's original release was in 2001 by Good Life Recordings, but on March 19, 2002 Hopeless Records released it again with little difference on album cover plus one track track track, "To End the Rapture (Heavy Metal Version)" which is also filled by first time by their new guitarist, Synyster Gates.
