Hail to the King is the sixth studio album made by American band Avenged Sevenfold. The album was released on August 23, 2013 in New Zealand and Australia, and was also released on iTunes and North America on August 27, 2013. This album was the debut of Avenged Sevenfold's new drummer, Arin Ilejay who joined the band as a drummer on tour of the year 2011 and became an official member in 2013. This album is also Avenged Sevenfold's first album without contributions from the legendary drummer Avenged Sevenfold, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. The album was a success by climbing the album charts number 1 on the Billboard 200 [5] and the # 1 album charts in the UK [6], Canada, Brazil, Finland, and Ireland. The album sold over 159,000 copies in the United States after it was released one week earlier.
